Day 97 - November 24: Cranioplasty Pre-Op

Thank You for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
Psalm 139:14 (NLT)

Today's verse of the day is most timely as Dad prepares for his cranioplasty today, where the surgeons will replace the bone flap they removed to save his life on August 20. It's amazing that they will be able to replace a portion of a his skull with a synthetic prosthetic held by titanium screws.

The even more amazing thing, though, is the ways that God has orchestrated it all, in knitting him together before he was even born and writing his, and our, story in the way He has all along. He knows us in the way only He can, in and out, thought and muscle and bone and cell... All of it, God is in control and knows all.

We are praying over Dad right now:
Oh Christ, who is my peace,
Be now my peace.

We give it all to you, God, knowing full well that it is You alone who holds us in Your hand. You are our protector, our comforter, our peace, our provider and our miracle worker in all things, whatever it is that we may face today- we lift it all to you. In Jesus name, Amen.
