Day 26- September 14: Updates

Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
Isaiah 40:31 NASB2020

☀️ Day Updates:

Dad got to get up and go to the bathroom with PT!!!!! ❤️❤️πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ» Second time already today! And he sat in the chair! πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Dr. Said he's close to being ready to go elsewhere! πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸŽ‰Probably a few  more days to work on placement and such. He's alert and oriented x4 pretty consistently, knows he needs his helmet on before getting out of bed (and someone to help him etc). It will still be several days at least for them to have him ready/ensure he's ready, but it's getting closer!! Still praying for God's will and provision in placement. πŸ™πŸ» And timing!!

Dad got his staples out!!! (Over 100!!) ❤️πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»

And he had Mac and cheese for lunch and chicken noodle soup! πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»

He fed himself!

He seemed to have a good day. Confused occasionally but overall doing well. He even squeezed in an afternoon nap! πŸ™ŒπŸ»❤️

🌌 Evening Update:

Dad is a bit more confused this evening and has called us all several times. But we've had the opportunity to pray with and encourage him. Praying for peace and rest for him. ❤️πŸ™πŸ»

πŸŽ‰πŸ™ŒπŸ»Praise:

We continue to be so amazed by Dad's progress!! Thank you, God!! πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Also, see all of the praises throughout!! ❤️πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸŽ‰ God is so so so good!!!

The medical team said he's a walking miracle! πŸ’―πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰❤️

❤️πŸ™πŸ»Prayer Requests:

Continued miraculous healing from head to toe of Dad's body and mind! ❤️ Pain management and rest.

As noted above, God's will, timing and provision for inpatient therapy, that Dad would move to the next thing at exactly the right time and to exactly the right place. We know God will provide!

Continued prayers for our new friends! πŸ₯°πŸ«‚πŸ™πŸ» Whether it's people we've had significant interactions with or those we've only briefly seen, we pray for them and their unique situations. Whatever they might be going through that they would know God's nearness, love, and saving grace. And for God to continue using this for His kingdom and for His glory! ❤️❤️πŸ™ŒπŸ»
