π Evening Update:
-Dad is In a lot of pain related to Rib and clavicle fractures and back pain too. Says it's worse when he's trying to sleep/get comfortable in bed. Rating 8-9 sometimes pushing 10/10.
-team giving him Tylenol and will ask for Voltaren cream (he specifically asked for something like biofreeze), and possibly something stronger to take orally.
-goal- get pain under control
-seems to hold it together well despite how much pain he says he's in.
-Double vision is better today.
-Saying some confusing things but seems exhausted and at times is able to correct himself with the right words for what He's trying to say.
- Mikayla talked with him about all the friends/ family support, the driving arrangements to bring mom back and forth that Heather is coordinating, that mom's been there nearly every day with a day or two to do some things/have a fun day with grandkids.
-he was concerned about grandkids having someone to watch them. They Talked about current arrangements.
-he wanted to discuss long term plan about work, and home, mom
-with all these things he'd brought up, they talked about not worrying, that God doesn't want us to stress/worry about that, to give it over to Him and let him direct our path. He "100% agreed" and felt like he wasn't worried but wanted to open it up for discussion.
-they talked about taking it one day at a time, getting him through what he needs for rehab and seeing that his and mom's desires/goals for the future stay "in discussion" and do what we can to meet those goals.
❤️ππ»πPraises:
Continued progress with therapy and rest last night!
He did get some of the grandkids as visitors today! ❤️
❤️ππ»Prayer Requests:
Continued healing for Dad, pain management, continued progress, rest, and God's timing and plan for a good in patient therapy program.
Rest for all of us!
Continued prayer for the requests we've heard and for those we're connecting with daily.
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all people. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:4-7 NASB2020
Still praying for healing! Please tell Charles I am thinking of him. Jenn
