🙏🏻right lung consolidation: giving antibiotic for this.  🙌🏻WBC down

🙏🏻Optical- blood from injury will absorb, eye is closing better than previously, dad looked up during exam, continued ointment

Giving Extra fluid via tube- was depleted

🙏🏻Set up things for Speech evaluation, had PT)/OT today. Very tired after this
Sat on side of the bed for PT.

🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻neurologically- stable


🙏🏻Swallow test in the next couple of days

❤️❤️🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🎉Seems to be understanding better/more today when awake. Remembered people and where he lives. Dad is turning to look at people who are talking to him and responding to them. And has been thanking the nurses and medical team. The nurses have been saying how sweet and funny he is.

Day 100- November 27th: Discharged!

Today has been such a blessing! Dad was discharged from Upstate and has returned to "Castleview"!!! 🥳🥳🥳  Dad did well on the drive and made it home before any snow storms! 😀 Thank you for your prayers!!  The JP drain was removed from his head yesterday as the drainage had essentially resolved and met criteria for removal. 🙌 A not so comfortable experience but  made it through! Thankful to have his dad there for support during the removal and got a few extra stitches as part of this process. Repeat CT scan was good!  Yesterday had more opportunities to get out of bed and visit with family. Pain had overall been well managed with Tylenol for 24hrs plus. Today, got clearance to shower and had incision cleaned. Learned how to care for the incision and signs to monitor for infection/complications. Plan for follow up in 2wks with neurosurgery to have stitches removed. Dad reports already feeling an overall improvement in mood and feeling "more normal"!🙌❤  Must say,
